Make sure to check \u00c2\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.uvm.edu\/~rgweb\/?Page=registration\/r_registrationmain.html&amp;SM=r_menu.html#regsch\">UVM&#8217;s registration schedule<\/a> to see when you may begin registering for Spring classes.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m setting aside enough 15 minute appointments over the next week or so to meet with all of my advisees. I&#8217;ll be available to answer any advising questions and to help review your choice of courses for the spring semester. If you&#8217;ll be a senior planning on graduating in spring 2011, you should definitely come to see me before registering so that we can make sure you&#8217;ll be set to graduate.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ef\u00bb\u00bfIf you&#8217;re a student in my TAP class, you don&#8217;t need to sign up for one of these advising times. Please see me during Wednesday&#8217;s special advising session.<\/p>\n<p>Keep reading after the break for further details and to choose your appointment time.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Those of you who are currently in your freshman year are required by the College of Arts and Sciences to meet with an advisor. If you&#8217;ve already declared a major other than English or Canadian Studies, I&#8217;d recommend that you make an appointment to see your advisor from that department or program. If you have not declared a major or minor, please arrange a meeting with me. Once you have met with me or another advisor we will remove the registration hold from your account.\u00c2\u00a0<strong>If you don&#8217;t have an advisor remove that registration hold, you will not be able to register.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>English majors and minors can find descriptions of most Spring 2011 courses\u00c2\u00a0from the Department of English at\u00c2\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.uvm.edu\/~english\/?Page=default.html\">the department&#8217;s website<\/a>. On that same page, you will also find the list of courses that fill the A, B, C, D, and senior seminar requirements. If possible, print a copy and bring it with you to our meeting. That will speed up the process considerably.<\/strong><\/span> Also, p<span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">lease do your best to pick your courses before our meeting.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Here are the available time slots I have in the coming days.
